Sequatchie County Sheriff Bill Phillips has released information concerning a deputy. The sheriff’s department received several inquiries and inaccurate statements regarding a March 15th incident involving a sheriff’s office employee.

The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office responded to a medical emergency involving a sheriff’s office employee. The incident has been handled in a professional manner and with appropriate privacy.
