Whitwell Seeks Vendors for 70th Annual Labor Day Celebration

The City of Whitwell is looking for additional artisans, crafters, and vendors to participate in its upcoming Red, White & Whitwell 70th Anniversary Labor Day Celebration, scheduled for Monday, September 7, 2026, at Whitwell City Park.

According to organizers, vendor spaces are still available for the event, with a $20 setup fee. Proceeds from vendor registrations will help fund plans for an inclusive playground at the city park, providing recreational opportunities for children of all abilities.

The annual Labor Day event is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and promises a full day of family-friendly entertainment and activities. Attractions planned for the celebration include a mud bog, burnout contest, mechanical bull, food trucks, craft and merchandise vendors, bingo, and a petting zoo. Organizers also plan to feature inflatables and other activities for children throughout the day.

The festival has long been one of Whitwell’s signature community events, drawing residents and visitors from across Marion County and surrounding areas for a day of entertainment, food, and patriotic celebration.

Individuals interested in becoming a vendor or seeking additional information about the event can contact Sandra Tennille at 865-804-9489.

The Red, White & Whitwell 70th Anniversary Labor Day Celebration will take place on September 7, 2026, at Whitwell City Park. Organizers encourage vendors to register early as space availability may become limited as the event approaches.
