Update on Body Located in Sequatchie County

The State Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that the body recovered deep in the woods in the Flat Mountain Rd area of Fredonia Mountain on Saturday, 6-27-26, is that of Morgan Davis, reported missing on Friday, 6-26-26. The cause and manner of death have not been determined.

The sheriff’s office continues the investigation along with the assistance of the Medical Examiner’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Anyone with information relative to this investigation is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s office at (423) 949-7750.
