The Town of Powells Crossroads is seeking bids from licensed and bonded contractors for a project to rebuild the block work supporting the football bleachers at Crossroads Ballpark.

According to a public notice issued by Mayor Dwight Richards, the town is accepting sealed bids for the project from properly licensed and bonded contractors.

Project specifications are available at Powells Crossroads Town Hall, located at 105 Highway 27, between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday.

Sealed bids must be received no later than 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, when they will be opened during the town’s regular meeting.

Contractors may also submit bids in person before the 6:30 p.m. meeting deadline on Aug. 20.

The Town of Powells Crossroads reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
