Webb is Officially New Marion County Sheriff

New Marion County Sheriff Chris Webb has been sworn into office. Sheriff Webb thanked the public after taking the Oath to serve as your next Sheriff on Saturday. Sheriff Webb has served in law enforcement for 33 years as he begins his reign as sheriff.

He said he was honored to have family and friends in attendance. Webb said he was honored to receive the badge his dad wore while in office. Webb said, “I’ll wear it with pride until I receive my own.”

He added the public had put their trust in me and said it was time to go to work.
