The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Stone Creek Trail in the
Fredonia community at approx. 7 pm on September 8, 2026.
Sheriff deputies responded after friends discovered the married couple residing at the home deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
Due to circumstances surrounding the incident, it is suspected the couple’s death is the result of a murder/suicide and their names will not be released at this time
