The Dade County Sheriff’s Office has issued a statement regarding an investigation into allegations that a Dade County commissioner improperly used a credit card.
The statement reads as follows:
Over the last few days, Sheriff Cross has received calls from multiple citizens requesting an investigation into allegations of improper credit card use by a Dade County Commissioner, that were voiced at a commission meeting on September 3rd, 2026.
Due to the nature of the complaints, Sheriff Cross has asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigations to make a determination, in regards to moving forward, as the investigation unfolds.
