A multi-state “bolo” was issued for the vehicle, and the suspect was captured a short time later in the Marietta, GA area after being spotted by Georgia authorities. The suspect is being held in Cobb County, GA on Georgia charges as well as the pending Criminal Homicide charge in relation to this incident.
The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office has an employee related to those involved in this incident and, therefore, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation will be assuming the role of lead investigative agency in this case.
TBI agents have obtained an arrest warrant charging Anthony with one count of Criminal Homicide. At the time of this release, Anthony remained in custody at the Cobb County Jail awaiting extradition back to Tennessee.
