Marion County 23, Sequatchie County 15: The Warriors defense controlled the first half and made a crucial late stop as the Marion County defeated Sequatchie County.
Warriors quarterback Zaiden Humphrey rushed for two touchdowns and finished with 113 yards on 13 carries. Sequatchie County quarterback Austin Minton threw a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.
Marion County is now 4-0 and Sequatchie County 2-2.
South Pittsburg 61, Brainerd 0: Pirate Senior quarterback Knox Israel threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns and ran for one. Haven Massengile had five catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns.
The game was all over after one quarter with South Pittsburg up 34-0.
Grundy County 36, Whitwell 3:Â T.K. Brown and Vince Bryant each ran for a pair of scores, and Beau Roberts connected with Easton Rymer for a 38-yard touchdown. The Yellow Jackets improved to 4-0 and the Tigers fell to 0-4.
