At 7:15 Friday night, the Dunlap Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Highway 127 near Garrett’s Garage. Firefighters arrived to find the vehicle just off the southbound lane with fire in the dash. Garrett’s Wrecker service employees deployed three fire extinguishers on the car before the fire department arrived. Firefighters extinguished the fire, and there were no injuries.
