The City of Stevenson, Alabama is preparing for a full week of community activities, entertainment, food, music, and family fun as “Depot Days 2026” returns beginning Saturday, June 6 and continuing through Saturday, June 13.
This year’s celebration will feature everything from a community yard sale and fishing tournament to live music, gospel night, comedy entertainment, a golf tournament, parade, and street dance.
Festivities officially kick off Saturday, June 6 with an all-day Community Yard Sale on Main Street. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis through Stevenson City Hall. A Fishing Tournament will also be held that day at the 117 Boat Dock (117 Snodgrass Bridge), running from first safe light until 1 p.m. Early registration is available through June 5.
The week continues Tuesday, June 9 with the Chamber Breakfast at 302 West beginning at 7:30 a.m., followed by an Ice Cream, Cake Walk and Live Music event on Main Street beginning at 6 p.m. Organizers say the evening is designed to offer family-friendly fun in downtown Stevenson.
On Wednesday, June 10, local churches will host Gospel Night beginning at 6 p.m. in downtown Stevenson. The event will include worship music and a free dinner sponsored by area churches.
Comedy takes center stage Thursday, June 11 at the Mack Morris Amphitheater at City Park with a Stand-Up Comedy showcase beginning at 5 p.m. Bingo Night will follow in the park at 6 p.m.
Friday, June 12 features multiple events throughout the day, including the Pioneer Breakfast hosted by the Calvary Baptist Youth Group at Phillip’s Place beginning at 6 a.m. Golfers can also participate in the 8th Annual Depot Days Golf Tournament at Dogwood Hills in Flat Rock. Registration begins at noon with tee time set for 1 p.m. The Depot Days Auction will be held in downtown on Main Street later that evening at 6 p.m.
Friday evening will conclude with live music from country superstar Linda Davis beginning at 7:30 p.m. in downtown Stevenson.
The celebration wraps up Saturday, June 13 with a full slate of activities. Parade lineup begins at 9 a.m. at Stevenson Middle School, followed by the opening ceremony, then the parade through Main Street at 10 a.m.
Live entertainment throughout the day will include performances by Valley Trail Riders, Loretta Jent, Kimberly Goins, Angela Carter, Tim Chastain, Southern Harmony, Cody Cookston, and Kenny Berry.
Depot Days will conclude Saturday night with a Street Dance featuring the band “Self Inflicted Wound” from 8 p.m. until midnight on Main Street.
City officials say Depot Days continues to serve as one of Stevenson’s largest annual community celebrations, bringing together residents and visitors throughout the week focused on local entertainment, fellowship, and downtown activities.
