Join the fight against Alzheimer’s disease by joining the walk and Dunlap on Saturday, September 9th. The event will take place at Harris Park; it’s a two (2) mile walk.
Registration begins at 8:00 AM, and the walk starts at 9 AM. You can register online at act.alz.org/ dunlap.
The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is full of flowers, each carried by someone committed to ending this devastating disease. These flowers represent how each walker is connected to Alzheimer’s and will be available to everyone on Walk Day. Sadly, we all represent one or more of these colors.
Blue represents someone living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia;
Purple is for those who have lost someone to the disease;
Yellow represents someone who is currently supporting or caring for a person living with Alzheimer’s;
Orange is for those who support the cause and the Association’s vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia;
White will be a symbol that there’s an Alzheimer’s SURVIVOR!!
All proceeds raised will directly support the Alzheimer’s Association. For more information, call 423-718-3513 or 423-304-6111.
