Tennessee American Water Names Jason Campbell to Oversee Sequatchie Valley District

Jason Campbell has been named Senior Supervisor for Tennessee American Water’s Sequatchie Valley District.  In this role, Jason oversees the local field operations team, which serves customers in Whitwell, Powells Crossroads, parts of Sequatchie County, Jasper Highlands, and Suck Creek.  He also manages the capital budget to fund ongoing improvements in the water system.  In addition, Jason represents the company as the Sequatchie Valley point of contact for the business development team and continuing Tennessee American Water’s support in the community.

A native of Marion County, Jason is a graduate of Whitwell High School and joined Tennessee American Water in 2010 in the production department, where he most recently held a supervisor role in Chattanooga.  Jason had previously worked for the City of Whitwell’s water system.  Tennessee American Water acquired the municipal water system in 2013 and has invested over $12 million in capital improvements since then.

“As an experienced water professional, Jason brings passion to his role knowing that customers rely on clean, safe, and reliable water every day,” said Tennessee American Water vice president of operations Doug Wagner. “Jason’s expertise will build on the ongoing great work in our Sequatchie Valley District.”

Jason and his wife live in Powells Crossroads with their two young children.  He is involved in his children’s school and volunteers with the Whitwell Youth Baseball League.
