Sequatchie Valley Now has learned more about the deceased female found Sunday morning in Monteagle’s Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant parking lot. The restaurant is located near the Marion/Franklin County line.
The TBI has identified the body found in Marion County over the weekend.
Sequatchie Valley Now reported earlier that the female was 16 years old, but we have learned through the TBI that the teenager was only 14. The TBI has identified her as Nahomi Hernandez.
The TBI says the teen was found deceased by an off-duty Franklin County deputy in the restaurant’s parking lot on W. Main Street in Monteagle near the Marion/Franklin County line.
The cause of death has not been released.
