Free Flu Shots Wednesday at the Marion County Health Department

The Marion County Health Department, located on 7th St. East in Jasper, will provide free flu shots on Wednesday (Nov. 1). Go to www.tn.gov/health/fightflu for more information. The free flu shots will be given between 8 AM-6 PM.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Tennessee Department of Health recommend that everyone six months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every year. Flu vaccination can reduce flu illnesses, doctor’s visits, and missed work and school due to flu and prevent serious complications that can result in hospitalization and even death.

A flu vaccine is the best way to help prevent flu and its potentially serious complications.

Remember that flu vaccine not only protects you, but it also can help protect those around you.
