The Haletown Volunteer Fire Department is preparing their new Brush 1 and Rescue 1 to put into service.
Brush 1 is a new wildland firefighting apparatus sporting a skid unit donated by the Tennessee Department of Forestry. The apparatus has a 300-gallon tank and 300 gpm pump. It will carry all the gear for firefighters for future brush and wildland fires.
Rescue 1 is a specialized rescue truck that carries extrication, HAZMAT, and water rescue equipment.
