Third Child Dies from Flu in Tennessee
The Tennessee Department of Health has announced a third child has died from the flu in Tennessee this season. The child’s death occurred during the week between Jan. 14 and Jan. 20.
Three pediatric influenza-related deaths have been reported in Tennessee this flu season. The season began on Oct. 1, 2023.
The first pediatric death was recorded the week before Christmas. The second death was reported the week after Christmas.
