On Tuesday, February 6, officers with the Dunlap Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Tyler A. Shell of Dunlap for driving on a revoked driver’s license.
As officers were speaking to Shell, they observed in plain view drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Dunlap officers placed Shell into custody.
Upon search of the vehicle, officers located more drug paraphernalia, small amounts of methamphetamine, hashish, and marijuana. Officers also located on Shell’s person several counterfeit pressed fentanyl pills and approximately a 1/2 ounce of methamphetamine.
Shell was charged with Driving on a Revoked Driver’s License, Possession of Methamphetamine while Operating a Motor Vehicle, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, two counts of Possession of a Schedule VI drug, Possession of a Schedule II Drug (Fentanyl) and Possession of a Schedule II for resale methamphetamine.
