Two State Leaders Propose Tennessee Minimum Wage Increase to $20
Many workers will get a massive raise if Tennessee Representative Gloria Johnson and Tennessee Senator Sara Kyle get their way.
The two-state leaders want to raise the minimum wage from $7.25 an hour to $20 if a new bill passes in the Tennessee General Assembly.
It’s passed on the first and second consideration in the Senate and referred to the Senate Commerce and Labor Committee.
