Starting tonight, May 28 and continuing through Thursday, June 6, crews from the Tennessee Department of Transportation will be resurfacing Interstate 24 in Marion County.
The work, scheduled between 8:00pm – 6:00am CT, will be on I-24 West near mile marker 137, resulting in temporary lane reductions. This is east of the Monteagle/Tracy City exit.
Drivers should use caution as they travel through the work area and expect delays. The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be present, and signage will be posted directing drivers through the work zone.
The work is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled if necessary.
