There are currently a few different scam calls being directed to Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative members. One of which is saying that the member has been overcharged and to press #1. This is just an example of one of the scams.
SVEC does not call our members to demand money over the phone. They encourage our members to never give personal information to anyone they cannot completely identify. SVEC encourages members to hang up and call SVEC’s local number to inquire about any account concerns. Please do not fall victim to these scams.
