Haletown Volunteer Fire Department News: Kitchen Fire and Grant Funding

Saturday night around 10:15, the Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to the 3800 block of Griffith Highway for a suspected house fire.

When firefighters arrived, they found a kitchen stove on fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished it. There were no injuries.

Haletown Fire recently received a grant donation from the Gary Sinise Foundation.

They used the funding to purchase an amazing 675 gallon per minute mobile fire pump that gives firefighters a huge advantage both on land and in the water.
