Grant will Help Increase Enforcement of Move Over Law
The Tennessee Highway Safety Office has qualified for $172,000 in a federal grant to help prevent roadside deaths and help emergency crews do their jobs in the safest way possible.
The grant will allow the THSO to crack down on the issue by increasing enforcement of the Move Over Law.
So far this year there have been 59 accidents where people have hit emergency worker vehicles.
