Bryan Lawson of Marion County is facing charges after attempting to exploit an officer posing as a teenage male online, an affidavit says.
The affidavit says an Online Covert Employee with the FBI posed as a 15-year-old to talk with 36-year-old Lawson.
According to the affidavit, when the OCE told Lawson he was 15, the only response was” okay.”
The affidavit says Lawson asked for images and video of the OCE’s private area.
The OCE set up a meeting with Lawson, who believed they’d be having sex together, according to the affidavit.
Lawson was arrested and charged with exploitation of a minor by electronic means.
