Sinkhole Repaired Two Lanes Back Open on Highway 111 in Sequatchie County
Highway 111 North near Lewis Chapel Road in Sequatchie County has been closed for road repairs since May of this year. State officials said at the time that pipe failure was to blame for a large sinkhole across the roadway.
Great news for area travelers. On Tuesday afternoon, Highway 111 South is back to 2-lane traffic just after the Lewis Chapel Exit in Sequatchie County.
