Bledsoe County Sheriff Jimmy Morris recently informed the public of a recent scam in the area.
If you receive a phone call from someone identifying themselves as the Sheriff, a Deputy, or an Employee of the Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department, DO NOT PAY them any money over the phone.
Scammers often try to rush and push their victims into making decisions without time to verify and thoughtfully consider the information the scammers present. If anyone is rushing or pushing you to make a decision, it might be a scam.
