This week, a couple of junked cars will be at Station One of the Jasper Highlands Fire Department in the dog park parking lot, where they will remain for a few days. These junkers will be used in vehicle extrication training on Saturday, October 19th.
Jasper Highlands Fire Department will use its extrication cutters, spreaders, and other tools to practice safely extricating a trapped or injured person from a wrecked vehicle. These skills will likely come in handy someday at Jasper Highlands.
Rest assured that these unsightly junked cars are serving an essential purpose and will be gone in a few days. Thanks, as always, for your understanding and cooperation.
