SVEC Offers Reward After Copper Theft in Palmer

SVEC is offering a cash reward to anyone with information that leads to the arrest of the individual(s) who cut down five poles in the Palmer area on November 5, 2024, to steal the copper wire.

SVEC works hard to maintain our infrastructure while keeping rates as low as possible. Pointless acts of vandalism such as this make our mission of low-cost reliable power even more difficult.

Please call 423-837-8605 or the Grundy Co. Sheriff’s Department with any information regarding this situation. The sheriff’s department takes thefts extremely seriously and appreciate any leads received.
