Betsy Bowden, a talented photographer from Marion County, has been selected to feature in the 2025 Tennessee Wildlife Federation (TWF) Calendar. Known for her passion for the region’s diverse wildlife, Bowden captures images that bring attention to often overlooked species crucial to the area’s biodiversity. Her striking photograph of warpaint shiners, taken at the Tennessee Aquarium, will be among the featured works.
This marks the 10th annual calendar produced by the TWF, showcasing winning photography submissions. The 2025 contest attracted nearly 2,000 entries from photographers spanning ten states, each offering unique perspectives on Tennessee’s natural beauty. A panel of judges selected the winning photographs, which will grace the pages of the upcoming calendar.
Supporters who contribute $60 or more or commit to a monthly donation of $10 or more by December 31, 2024, will receive the 2025 calendar as a token of appreciation while supplies last. All donations aid the Federation’s conservation initiatives throughout Tennessee. To donate and secure your calendar, visit tnwf.org/donate.
