We have exciting news for the citizens of Pikeville. The City of Pikeville has added an additional Weather Siren for the safety of our residents.
The newer siren is located on Sawmill Road near the water tower, while the first siren is located on the Municipal Building. Both sirens were made possible through grant funds from FEMA.
In times of severe weather, these sirens will provide important alerts and warnings to keep the community safe. Please remember that both sirens will be tested on the 15th of each month at 5 pm unless there is inclement weather, in which case the testing will be postponed until the following month.
