Dunlap Firefighters Control Brush Burn

At 8:10 Tuesday night, the Dunlap Fire Department was dispatched to a brush fire on the side of Lewis Chapel Mountain near the overlook on Hwy 111. A brush pile from cleanups at the overlook was on fire and reported to Sequatchie E911. Firefighters determined that the fire was approximately 50 feet by 50 feet in size and was located about 150 feet below the roadway. There were no injuries.
