On Friday, just after 8 PM, Haletown Fire and Rescue responded to a crash on I-24 East Mile Marker 164, with possible entrapment.
Upon arrival, they discovered a car in the left fast lane that had hydroplaned going around a curve. In the process, the vehicle collected another vehicle in the right lane. Both vehicles slid down the embankment.
All passengers were outside the vehicles and were not injured. The Tennessee Highway Patrol took charge of the investigation.
