On Monday at 10:32 a.m., the Jasper Highlands Fire Department responded to a truck fire on Jasper Highlands Boulevard, between the pedestrian bridge and the entry gate. Firefighters found the front end of a pick-up truck in flames. Their team worked and the fire was quickly extinguished. The driver escaped the vehicle safely, but the truck was a total loss.
