No Charges Against Driver after Pedestrian Killed June 24			        
		
			    
    
				
				
							
										
						The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a driver will not be charged after a woman was killed while walking on Highway 28 in Marion County on Tuesday, June 24.
It happened around 9:00 pm near Morrison Spring Road.
The THP’s preliminary report says a 51-year-old man who was driving north in a 2002 Ford F-350 truck hit 33-year-old Betty J. Harrell as she was walking in the roadway.
The driver was not injured.
