A team of 15 electric line workers from Tennessee contributed to providing electricity to two remote villages in Guatemala.
Among the participants were Nick Gipson and Daniel Walker, who represented Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC).
Over a period of 16 days, the crew constructed two power lines, installing 38 poles and wiring across challenging terrain. Their work enabled homes and schools in the villages to access electricity for the first time.
Additionally, the team distributed laptops provided by SVEC and partner utilities.
