Overdose Deaths Down in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee
Overdose deaths in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee fell sharply between March 2024 and March 2025, according to new numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Alabama saw a 30.05 percent decline over the 12 months, Georgia by 22.28 percent, and Tennessee by 31.84 percent.
Arizona was the only state in the U.S. to see its reported overdose deaths increase between March 2024 and March 2025.
