Former Sequatchie County Children’s Advocacy Center Former Director Indicted and Arrested

The former director of the 12th Judicial District’s Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) in Sequatchie County has been charged with allegedly using a company card for personal purchases.

According to an indictment, between 2019 and 2024, Kelli Renee Craig is accused of using the CAC’s company credit card for personal expenditures totaling over $60,000.

A grand jury indicted Craig for property theft.

She was taken into custody by the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office.

Courtney Lynch, District Attorney for the 12th Judicial District, confirmed that the CAC no longer employs Craig.
