Search Warrant in Bledsoe County Leads to Drug Seizure

Detectives and Deputies with the Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the Brockdell Community, uncovering a drug operation that included methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription narcotics, and evidence consistent with the sale and distribution of illegal substances. The search warrant was the result of a narcotics investigation and reflects the Sheriff’s Office’s continued efforts to identify, disrupt, and dismantle drug activity within Bledsoe County communities.

During the investigation, BCSO recovered approximately:

  • 75 grams of methamphetamine
  • 75 grams of marijuana
  • Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, and Methadone
  • Assorted drug paraphernalia
  • U.S. currency and a vehicle

As a result of this investigation, Loretta Dockery was charged with:

  • Maintaining a dwelling where drugs are used or sold
  • Child neglect and endangerment
  • Possession of methamphetamine for resale
  • Possession of marijuana for resale
  • Possession of oxycodone for resale
  • Possession of methadone for resale
  • Possession of Hydrocodone for resale
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Sheriff Jimmy Morris commented, “This is a clear example of the dangers illegal drugs bring into our communities—impacting not just individuals, but families and children. Our office will continue to send a strong message that drug activity has no place in Bledsoe County.”
