Two-Vehicle Accident in Dunlap

On Saturday at 1 a.m., the Dunlap Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 111 in the curves south of the waterfall.

The driver in a van was extricated by firefighters using Hurst eDRAULIC spreader and cutter. Puckett EMS transported the victim with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the 2nd vehicle was not injured.

Sequatchie County Sheriff’s deputies and Sequatchie County Rescue also responded. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is the investigating agency.
