Bledsoe County Mayor Gregg Ridley
An open race will be held next spring for the position of Bledsoe County Mayor. Incumbent Mayor Gregg Ridley, who has served five terms, has announced he will not be seeking re-election. Mayor Ridley will continue to fulfill his duties until his successor assumes office on September 1, 2026.
In an official press release, Ridley expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve Bledsoe County for nearly two decades. Prospective candidates have approximately six weeks to declare their intention to run. The county primaries are set for May 5, 2026.
