Jackson County, Ala Sheriff’s Department Receives Funding for New Patrol Units

Jackson County, Ala., is set to strengthen public safety after receiving federal funding to purchase additional patrol cars for the sheriff’s office.

The $250,000 in community project funding will help the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office purchase and outfit four new patrol vehicles. These new units will help deputies respond faster, cover more ground, and keep families safe.

Representative Dale Strong visited Jackson County last week to deliver the news to Jackson County, Ala., Sheriff Rocky Harnen.
