The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Department has recently learned of a phone scam targeting some individuals in the area.
The caller states that they have important legal information to discuss with you, and then falsely assured that a warrant has been issued and demands payment of bond money to avoid arrest.
Please note that the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Department will never attempt to request payment of any kind over the phone to prevent incarceration.
