Two Important Programs from Haletown Fire and Rescue

The Haletown Fire and Rescue is participating in two Federal programs. One is the free to the public smoke alarms. Each home is qualified to received up to 6 smoke alarms. These alarms have 10-year batteries and are installed by our firemen. All you do is sign, that they were installed.

Second: is the “Close the door” program. This is also free and is administered by the fire department. Closing a door if you are surrounded by flames can and will provide you with protection. It gives firefighters precious minutes to find you in case of an emergency.

Both programs are free, and Haletown Fire and Rescue will come to your home. You do not have to leave your house. Call the hall at 423-938-0500 and schedule you an appointment.
