According to data released by airport officials, Chattanooga Airport experienced record passenger traffic last year. In 2025, the airport served 632,384 passengers—a 14 percent increase from the 556,958 who traveled through the facility in 2024.
To address this growth, construction commenced in 2025 on a new parking garage valued at nearly $35 million, which will provide approximately 1,600 additional parking spaces. Furthermore, in November 2025, development began on the BlueCross Healthy Place, a 4.5-acre aviation-themed park featuring an inclusive playground, observation areas, and walking trails. The park is projected to open in summer 2026.
