On February 9, 2026, at around 10 a.m., a large fight broke out at Brainerd High School. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department School Resource Deputy, school staff, and other law enforcement agencies responded immediately, eventually bringing the situation back under control.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Chattanooga Police Department, and Tennessee Office of Homeland Security for their assistance during this incident.
Charges are pending as the investigation continues. No additional details are available at this time.
