Body Located on Trussell Road in Monteagle

A body was located on Trussell Road in Monteagle around noon on Thursday.

Several members of law enforcement, including the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and Monteagle Police were on the scene for several hours. As of 5 PM the sheriff’s department reported that this continues to be active investigation.

At this time no information has been released by authorities. Sequatchie Valley Now will continue to follow this story and give updates when released.
