Every child deserves a safe and fulfilling childhood. This April, area counties are uniting to raise awareness for this important cause.

The 12th Judicial District Children’s Advocacy Center has launched the “Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign” across all six counties, Rhea, Bledsoe, Sequatchie, Marion, Grundy and Franklin Counties.

Campaign Overview:

Throughout April 2027, hundreds of blue pinwheels will be placed in prominent locations across several counties. Each pinwheel represents hope, increased awareness, and a commitment to ensuring that every child is protected.

How the Campaign Works:

For each $1 donated, one pinwheel will be planted in your county as a visible reminder of the importance of preventing child abuse.

Our goal is to plant 500 pinwheels per county.

To encourage participation, we are introducing a friendly competition among the counties to reach their goals first. Regular updates will be provided to inform the community about each county’s progress.

Pinwheel Planting Details:

The placement of pinwheels will commence during the first week of April, creating impactful displays throughout the 12th district. These efforts aim to increase awareness and demonstrate support for children and families.

Led by Landon the Bear, our initiative underscores to every child in our community that they are valued, heard, and important.

If you wish to contribute, donations can be made via VENMO @the12thcac. Please specify your county in the memo to designate your support locally. Together, we can inspire hope and strengthen our shared commitment to the safety and well-being of every child.
