On Tuesday night at 9:02 pm, Cagle Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a reported one-vehicle rollover crash with possible entrapment on Highway 111, just south of Dollar General.
CVFD arrived on scene and reported a single-vehicle rollover with all occupants out of the vehicle and no entrapment. According to witnesses, the vehicle struck TDOT temporary barriers within the construction zone, causing it to overturn.
Three people were evaluated on scene and turned over to Puckett EMS for further care.
The vehicle was blocking the northbound lane, and CVFD personnel remained on scene to provide traffic control, ensure scene safety, and mitigate hazards until the roadway was cleared.
Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and Griswold and Son Wrecker Service assisted at the screen. The THP handled the crash investigation.
