Local Veterns Honrored on Saturday

On July 3, a special event was held in South Pittsburg to celebrate local veterans. Several dozen veterans’ families, and area mayors attended the event at American Legion Post 62 to acknowledge the service members’ contributions to both the nation and the community.

The gathering also featured recognition of distinguished individuals. Vietnam veterans Dr. Rusty Adcock and retired Judge Rusty Graham, Retired Colonel Jerry Bible was among those honored at the ceremony.
