Man who set the State Record for Bass Fishing in Tennessee has Died

Darren Nunley, the angler who set the new Tennessee State Record for largemouth bass earlier this year, died Monday (July 13) at his home in Whitwell.

Darren will be remembered for catching the new state record largemouth bass, which weighed 15.75 pounds. The TWRA reports that Nunley caught this impressive fish on February 28 while fishing at Nickajack Lake.
